Bob Buchek
President and CEO
Bob Buchek began his career with AMC after attending the University of Texas at Austin and Texas Lutheran College, where he received his BBA in Business Administration. At the start of his career, Bob was responsible for the financial functions, information systems, and marketing programs of AMC. Bob is a founding Board member of the Green Industry Alliance and past Board member of the Texas Turf Irrigation Association. He is also past Treasurer of the Texas Turf Irrigation WET-PAC Committee. He presently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of AMC with primary responsibility for oversight of the sales and marketing activities.

Pat Morgan
Executive VP and CFO
Pat Morgan received his BBA in Finance from Michigan State University and his MBA from Eastern Michigan University. Prior to joining AMC in 1989, he completed a 14-year banking career with NBC Bank as Manager of the Commercial Lending Division. He presently serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AMC with responsibilities over accounting, financial planning, human resources, banking, credit and collections, information systems, risk management, real estate management, and business planning.

John Titzman
Vice President - Marketing
John Titzman received his BBA in Marketing from Texas State University in 1984. John began his employment with AMC that same year in the Turf Irrigation Division as a sales representative. In 1989, John was assigned to the Golf Irrigation Division where he assisted in the formation of a statewide sales effort in the golf market. In 1992, he was promoted to Golf Sales Manager that covered South Texas and Oklahoma. He presently serves as Vice President of Marketing with respondibility for developing and implementing corporate marketing plans and strategies for the Turf, Domestic Water and Golf Divisions. He also provides oversight of sales for the Golf Division while providing technical support to customers and working closely with golf course irrigation consultants, architects, contractors, developers, and vendors.

John Buchek
Executive Vice President - Water Systems
John Buchek began his career with AMC in 1969 after attending the University of Texas at Austin. John is credited with the start-up of the Turf Irrigation Division in 1970 and expanding the distribution of AMC into the automated sprinkler industry that was growing in importance during this time. John served as the President and CEO of AMC Industries from 1979 to 1984. In 1988, John contributed to the formation of the Golf Irrigation Division and to the expansion of AMC into international sales. After retirement in 2002, John stayed involved with the company acting as a consultant and holding the position of Chairman of the Board. As of January 2005, John has rejoined the company fulltime serving as the Vice President – Water Systems Division with primary responsibility for the management and growth of the water well, sump and sewage and overall water systems department of AMC.

Maria Perez
Vice President - Controller
Maria Perez received her BBA in Accounting in and her MBA from the University of Houston at Victoria. Prior to joining AMC in 2002, Maria worked for Lauger Construction in Victoria, Texas as an Accountant and for the Circle Y of Yoakum, Texas Inc. as a Cost Accountant and Supervisor of Financial Operations. Her initial duties with AMC were in the capacity of a Staff Accountant reporting to the Controller. She presently serves as the Controller with oversight responsibility for financial reporting, the credit and collection functions, human resources, banking, tax planning, budgeting, and cash management.

Rick Allenstein
Vice President - Asset Management & Information Systems
Rick Allenstein received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Iowa State University. Prior to joining AMC in 1988, Rick worked in various capacities within the irrigation industry including Wholesale Irrigation Department Manager for Goldthwaite’s of Texas, Wholesale Irrigation Department Sales Manager for Minnesota Toro, Inc., and National Sales Manager for Carroll Childres Company in Houston, Texas. He presently serves as Vice President – Asset Management & Information Systems with responsibilities for information systems, utilization and management of fixed assets, and administration functions.

Charles Beyer
Vice President - Purchasing and Specification
Charlie Beyer started with AMC in 1976 as a warehouse employee and immediately demonstrated an aptitude for the irrigation industry. Charlie progressed into the shipping and receiving functions and eventually into management as a Branch Manager. In 1991, he became the General Manager of AMC with responsibility for all branch operations. Because of his vast knowledge of the irrigation industry, in 1997 he was promoted to Purchasing Manager. He presently serves as Vice President – Purchasing and Specification and is responsible for oversight of our centralized purchasing function, coordination of purchasing activities at the branches, and all project and specification functions.

Tres Buchek
Vice President - General Manager
Tres Buchek began his career with AMC in 1997 after graduating from The University of Texas at Austin. During his career Tres has held various positions with AMC including Turf Irrigation Sales, Credit Manager and Sales Manager of the Water Well division. Tres has served as a board member of various industry associations including three terms as an executive board member of the Texas Turf Irrigation Association. In 2009 Tres was named the Manufacturer/ Supplier “Person of the Year” by the Texas Groundwater Association. He presently serves as Vice President and General Manager of AMC with primary responsibility for oversight of sales and operations activities. Tres is the fourth generation of AMC’s founding family to be part of its staff.
